What is a Hackathon?

It is a common place where developers, designers and coders from all type of backgrounds come together and collaborate to solve a set of different problem statements and compete for cash prizes.

What is Karmakshetra?

It is the Hackathon of The Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology(GCECT), spanning for 10 hours, during KarmaTek(Tech-Fest of GCECT) on 7th October, starting from 8 AM upto 8 PM. There will be exciting Cash prizes, Snacks, Coffee, and most importantly, Lots of Coding!!

Why should I participate?

It encourages people to develop technical as well as non-technical skills, such as project management, presentation skills, and problem-solving.Further it allows the teams to fight for Cash-Prizes which serve a Big Motivation!

What is the cost of participation in Karmakshetra?

It costs nothing to participate in Karmakhetra! Just come, Code, have fun!! There will be Meals, Snacks, Beverages, many fun events, prizes, and much more on the day of Hackathon which is on us!

What is the maximum/minimum team size?

In order to maintain balance, we are encouraging people to make teams of minimum 2 and a maximum of 4 members..

Who can participate in Karmakshetra?

We welcome students in college, school to participate in the Hackathon. People interested in making innovative projects, and those interested in community building can join to have a fun time.
